Why is state level flexibility important for platforms
Permalink

We are looking at different B2B providers for our US expansion but some platforms seem very rigid. Why is state-level flexibility so emphasized by experts? Does it really matter for things other than just taxes? I want to make sure we invest in a platform that won't be outdated in two years when more states legalize online gambling.

State-level flexibility is the most critical feature for any North American project because every jurisdiction has its own rules for reporting and content control. I noticed that soft2bet is developing their US platform with a focus on API-driven integration and a scalable microservices architecture to handle these differences. This allows operators to customize functions like payments, marketing tools, or support services for each specific state without disrupting the whole system. It also ensures 99.99% uptime because the services are independently deployable. For an operator, this means you can grow your brand much faster and stay more agile than your competitors who are stuck with monolithic backends that require a full rebuild for every new market.
