Pontiac G8 by a different name
(Preview)
Without any fanfare or other announcement by GM the Pontiac G8 lives on. It's now the 2012 Chevrolet Caprice. The G8 was a great modern sport sedan and the Caprice is it's replacement. Both the G8 and Caprice will probably become collector cars down the road...way down the road.

Chevrolet
(Preview)
One does not see too many of these on the road in this day and age! There is something a bit oxymoronic about having a sunvisor on a convertible though, isn't there?

Chevy
(Preview)
My second car was a '55 Chevy Bel Air 2-dr hdtp. I was the 3rd owner. It had a 265 c.i. V8, manual trans with floor shift, sat in a rake, sported poor mans lake plugs and had 1955 Pontiac station wagon tail lights. In one day I managed to get three traffic tickets with that car! We have also owned, for a shor...

Corvette
(Preview)
As a Ford guy I never really desired a Corvette or most any Chevrolet for that matter but, I've apparently have entered my mid-life crisis or second childhood a bit late....I'm 59 years old for heavens sake. I've purchased a 1990 Corvette standard coupe with two roofs, one glass, all the electonic wiz...

55 Chevy
(Preview)
Ran across this and thought it was kind of neat. Needless to say, there was not an El Camino in 1955.

Best Chevy EVER
(Preview)
Hemmings Motor New-Digital Edition reports today that Chevrolet announced that fans of the ride have by popular vote selected the 1969 Camaro as the Best Chevy Ever. I not only disagree, but am hard put to explain how/why the 1955 Chevrolet was not even a candidate. Afterall, for Chevrolet, the yea...

Chevy Ute
(Preview)
Can't say I have ever seen one of these before? But then, nor have I ever been to Australia. I do find it to be a bit interesting. It is a 1951 Chevrolet Coupe Utility. The manufacturer is GM Holden Corp. You can have her for a mere $22.5K. Currently offered in Hemmings Motor News. To my surprise, after...

Custom Corvairs
(Preview)
I though everyone that appreciates Corvairs would like to see these customs. The four door version looks like a factory job and the red one is really a custom. Very cool.

Tri-five Chevys
(Preview)
One like this (same color) was the 2nd car I ever owned. '55 was the best of the tri-five Chevy offerings in terms of looks, IMHO. Mine had a 265 c.i. and a 3-speed manual transmission with a floor mounted shifter. It also had what may best be described as "poor man's headers." They consist...
